Description Life zones and habitat: Foothills and montane. Dry, rocky areas.
Plant: Erect perennial 2 to 3 feet tall.
Leaves: Large, alternate, heart-shaped leaves, toothed edges.
Inflorescence: Clusters of many (20 to 40) creamy-white rayless florets in flower heads to 2 inches high.
