Description Life zones and habitat: Foothills and montane; woodlands.
Plant: Erect perennial 8 to 20 inches tall; several hairy, leafy stems.
Leaves: Long, narrow, sharply-pointed and hairy stem leaves, clasping.
Inflorescence: Small 5-lobed blossoms, funnel-shaped and pale-yellow, arising from leaf axils (leaf-stem junctions).
