Until this summer we had not explored the wildflower opportunities of Northeastern Colorado, concentrating instead on the mountains and Western Slope. This changed with a trip in June to Sterling in Logan County, where I grew up, and Pawnee Buttes National Grassland in adjacent Weld County. As might be expected we found many new species for the site, 45 in all.
